Our Policy :
The Climate Project is very sensitive to online privacy concerns. All Web
sites should have a privacy policy, plain and simple. A privacy policy
should be clear and straightforward about what information a site collects
and how it's used. Here is ours:
Collection and use of personally identifiable information:
At our site, you can request more information about our goals and programs,
download materials and other interactive services. The types of personally
identifiable information that may be collected at these pages include: name,
address, email address, telephone number, fax number, and information about
your projects.
We do not share or otherwise disclose any personal information, including
your name, address, or email addresses with other organizations. Only The
Climate Project staff and our authorized agents have access to personally
identifiable information provided by visitors to our site in order to better
serve you. We do not lease, rent, or sell the information we collect. People
who affirmatively submit their contact information through The Climate
Project site may be contacted by The Climate Project staff.
Browser information collected on the Web site:
As with any Web site operator, The Climate Project analyzes our Web site
logs to constantly improve the value of our Web site. We use an external
service to provide real-time reporting to us and our authorized agents of
browser accesses to our site. This includes page views, unique views, unique
visitors, repeat visitors, frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic
periods. We do not use this service to gather, request, record, require,
collect or track any Internet users' personally identifiable information.
Privacy of our email lists:
The Climate Project maintains an email list to keep interested parties
informed about various activities of the organization. Individuals must
affirmatively request to join our mailing lists. In addition, we do not
share the email addresses on our lists with outside organizations. List
server software is configured to refuse to divulge the email addresses of
our list subscribers to anyone but authorized The Climate Project staff,
including other list subscribers. Only The Climate Project staff has access
to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to our site. The
Climate Project is concerned about the privacy of children; therefore, we do
not knowingly collect personal information from a child under the age of 14.
Donations
You can contribute to the effort by donating to The Climate Project. Your donations will help fund training sessions in Nashville, including training materials, lecture space, and much more. In addition, donations work towards funding web-based resources to ensure the continued growth of this movement.
